Start & Generator Specialisten was founded in 1942 by Arne Håkansson and was called Södra Lindarverkstaden at the time. The business then consisted of manufacturing and repairing anchors for both starter motors and generators. Gradually, a replacement system for anchors was introduced, which later changed to a complete replacement program for starter motors and generators.
